From December 11th to 15th, 2024, representatives from Saint Martin and Aruba came together to explore heritage, language, and artistic expression through a week-long cultural exchange. Events included workshops, archive visits, performances, and exhibitions, emphasizing shared Caribbean identity and community collaboration. Highlights included the Heritage & Language Dialogue, African Soul Dance, and the Legacy of Lolita celebration.
We honor the legacy of slavery and its impact on Aruba, the Netherlands, and the African diaspora. Through monuments, education, and advocacy, we promote healing, awareness, and justice, guided by Ubuntu to foster unity, equality, and respect.
