Join us on July 1st in San Nicolas for a powerful day of remembrance, culture, and celebration as we honor the abolition of slavery and the enduring spirit of unity. The day kicks off at 5:30 PM at the YMCA San Nicolas with a commemorative march, where all participants will receive a free t-shirt and water bottle.
The evening continues at Rotonde San Nicolas Centrum from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM with inspiring performances by Groove Masters, Judah the Lion, and pianist Talbo, along with monologues by Lisandra Raspaill and Sabra Claxon, and poetry by Sietfried Dumfries Beach. A special rendition of Aruba’s National Anthem will be performed by Zenae Vespree.
Enjoy a vibrant fashion show by Imperial Designs and an unforgettable performance by Suriname’s Ondodrem Na Reti & Teri Leli. The event will also include a libation ceremony led by PNHA.
This is a moment to reflect, celebrate, and stand together in unity. All are welcome. ✊🏾🔥
