Celebrating 15 Years of St. Rancho: Honoring Heritage, History, and Healing
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of St. Rancho, a special commemorative event was held to reflect on the district’s cultural significance and historical legacy. The event brought together community members, leaders, and organizations committed to preserving Aruba’s history and promoting meaningful dialogue around identity, memory, and resilience.
As part of the anniversary program, a powerful panel discussion titled “Heritage, History, and Healing – Aruba’s Future” was held, focusing on the ongoing journey toward recognition and restoration of the island’s past. Representing Plataforma Nacional Herencia di Sclavitud na Aruba (P.N.H.S.A.), President Mrs. Sirelda Jackson participated as a distinguished panelist, sharing deep insights into the importance of honoring the legacy of enslaved ancestors, fostering intergenerational education, and advocating for cultural awareness and justice.
