Guided by conversations with the community, P.N.H.S.A. has outlined a series of transformative projects aimed at reclaiming and strengthening Caribbean identity. These key initiatives include the establishment of a National Commemoration Month, the decolonization of education and public spaces, and the introduction of innovative educational practices. Other priorities focus on historical research, trauma healing, inter-island collaboration to enhance museum infrastructure, and the creation of a knowledge network to professionalize the Dutch-Caribbean heritage sector. Establishing 5 permanent national monuments and 1 plaque in honor of the history of slavery. Together, these projects represent a collective vision for cultural empowerment and sustainable development.

We honor the legacy of slavery and its impact on Aruba, the Netherlands, and the African diaspora. Through monuments, education, and advocacy, we promote healing, awareness, and justice, guided by Ubuntu to foster unity, equality, and respect.
